Colin Farrell Movies

If you are a movie buff, then you must have seen some movies or heard of the Irish actor “Colin Farrell”. Though this actor has not done a large number of Hollywood movies, but he has done a brilliant job in all the movies he has done. In this article, we will discuss a few Hollywood movies in which this actor has acted.

“Phone Booth” is an amazing Hollywood movie in which Colin Farrell has acted in the lead role. This movie was released in 2003. Joel Schumacher has directed this movie. The story of this movie is unique in itself. In this movie, from the starting and till the end Colin gets trapped in a phone booth as he has wrongly received a call from that phone booth. Rest of the movie is full of excitement, action and efforts of the actor for getting away with this problem. If you want to see a movie with a really different kind of plot, then go for this movie. You would love this movie.

However, if you wish to watch Colin Farrell playing the role of a villain in a super hero movie, then you should watch “Daredevil”. This movie was released in 2003. It is full of relevant action and special effects. Colin Farrell has done a short role in this movie. But he has played the role of a dangerous villain in this movie. If you wish to watch a science fiction movie of Colin Farrell, then you can watch “Minority Report”. The lead role in this movie is done by Tom Cruise.

How To Put Movies On To PSP

My next biggest question about my favorite new toy was about how to download movies to PSP.

I had already mastered the music thing so I figured the movies wouldn’t be any harder to learn. It turns out it was just slightly harder, but not too much. I’m going to share what I learned with you so you can download movies right to your own just like I did.

Ready to learn how to download movies to PSP? Let’s go!

Just like music, it uses a specific file format to play movies. Movies must be in the MP4 file format in order for it to be able to play them. No big deal. We can handle that little obstacle.

There are many places on the Internet to download movies for your PSP. Google Video, YouTube, VideoJug, to name a few. It’s as easy as hooking it to your computer using a USB 2.0 cable, waiting for your computer to recognize it as an external drive (usually E;), then saving the movie file to your computer and dragging it to your PSP.

But what if you want to use your personal DVD collection to download your favorite movies to your PSP?

That can definitely be done, but first you need to prepare because movies are huge files that use up lots of memory and space on your computer and you’ll need to consider several other things regarding storage for your downloaded PSP movies, too.

Decide whether to save your movies directly onto your computer’s hard drive before transferring them or whether to save them to a portable Memory Stick or whether it would be better to use some other external storage device.

These are all very important decisions because you don’t want your computer hard drive to become over crowded and stop working efficiently or possibly crash. You might even want to think about consulting your favorite local computer store professional about what they would suggest as appropriate movie storage options. It certainly would be a timesaver in the end.

OK, once you’ve finally decided on an efficient storage option for your movies, now what do you do to get the movies onto your PSP?

Well, you’ll need a USB 2.0 cable to transfer the movie files from your computer to your PSP. You probably already have one so the next tool you’ll need is a program that will rip movies from DVDs onto your computer.

There are several complicated free software solutions that will do this and several moderately priced software solutions, but my best suggestion would be to use a service such as PSP Blender.com.

How Movies Effectively Brainwash Us

Did you know that movies are one of the best brainwashing tools available?

Movies are such a powerful brainwashing tool that the American government has outlawed the insertion of hidden advertisements into the movie reel.

Theaters used to splice the movies with advertisements for soda and popcorn into the films, to encourage movie goers to buy more condiments.

Ads appeared for a fraction of a second, a duration to short to actually see, but a duration long enough to register in our subconscious.

Movies effectively guide our decision making by promoting the coolness of a manner of speaking, walking, and even our lovemaking.

How many of us without realizing base our decisions on the actions of an actor in a movie.

Many social commentators even attribute criminal actions to the actions of criminals seen in movies.

Even when a movie does not directly influence our decision making process, it can still have a very strong indirect effect.

For instance, if a country was perceived in a dangerous fashion, many tourists will seek avoid it when planning their next trip. Even though they recognize that the movie was simply fiction, feelings of dread associated with the country will linger in people who watched the film.

How many people have stayed away from Mexico after seeing the story line of kidnaping in Man On Fire?

Movies are also used as marketing tools by placing products in the story line.

For instance, in the Transformer movie a Chevy Camaro was used as the main Transformer.

Millions of fans will now associate the Chevy Camaro with a fun filled, greater than life experience.

Movies can influence our thoughts even if we are aware of their brainwashing effect, so it is important to know beforehand what kind of a movie we are about to watch, and what its potential effect is on us.

The Movie businesses growth has in turn brought out more Marvel movies superheroes who have now became bigger than life superstars.

5 Great Older Movies For Children

I can remember some of the movies my parents shared with me growing up. Some of them I simply felt were too old, as many of them were movies they had watched themselves as children. Then there were other ones that were definitely exceptions to the rule. I felt that despite their age, these were thoroughly enjoyable as timeless classics. These are wonderful movies that should be shared with generations of future children, and it’s remarkable to think that some of these have such staying power. Here are a few movies that I believe fit this description.

1. The Little Mermaid. Though this is a newer classic, it’s a classic nonetheless. Coming up on its 20 year anniversary, this movie is just as enjoyable today as it ever was.

2. ET. Everyone loves the extra terrestrial that ate Reese’s Pieces and charmed a small town. Elliot and ET make for a great combo, and any kids should generally love this movie.

3. Pinocchio. The wooden puppet who turns into a real boy. This is a true Disney classic, and one worth watching anytime, regardless of the story’s age.

4. Superman. While this is a bit more mature in nature, children will love this movie, as they’ll be fascinated with the concept of a flying man. Highly recommended for children.

5. Bend it Like Beckham. This is a sports movie that teaches children about all of the virtues of cooperation, teamwork, and the competitive spirit. A newer classic, it’s one that should teach all kids valuable lessons.

Timeless Movies From the 1980s

If you were like me and lucky enough to grow up in the 80’s, you will remember those years with great. Some of modern cinema’s greatest movies came out then too. For those in their mid twenties and younger, a lot of these movies are probably just names they hear they’re parents mention. When in fact they really should have seen them as they are modern classics.

Many of these movies were way ahead of their time, and forerunners of many of the themes you will find in today’s movies. There are 5 movies from the 80’s that I never tire of watching and are staples in my DVD collection. If you haven’t yet seen them there is nothing to stop you.

You may know Elizabeth Shue from her recent work, but in the 1980’s she was known as the star of Adventures in Babysitting. Set on the streets of Chicago, this is a cult movie these days and has stood the test of time. A sports movie that still has me in hysterics is the wonderful Major league. There are two sequel movies but the original is still the best.

Possibly one of the most famous movies of the decade is the funny and yet thought provoking Breakfast Club. An ensemble cast of the day’s best known young stars combine to create a true modern classic. This really is a must see.

A young kid skips school and takes his girlfriend and best buddy to spend the day in the big city of Chicago. This is the simple plot of Ferris Bueller’s day off, but the great script and strong performances of a young Matthew Broderick and his co-stars really make this a movie to be watched over and over again.

A great action movie that for me has never been surpassed is the fabulous Die Hard. What else could you want from a leading man than the charismatic Bruce Willis? It’s a testimony to the brilliance of this film that the latest sequel only came out in the last few years. Two hours of pure action packed entertainment.
